Truck Show News

Plans are being made for our 2008 Tri-State Antique Truck Show.  The 2008 Flea Market and Vendor Pre-Registration Form can now be downloaded from the "Flea Market" page of this website.  You can print this form, fill out the necessary information mail the form in to the Truck Show Officials with your registration fees to hold your Flea Market Space.  Arts & Crafts vendors will be welcomed this year as well.

Our first second and third annual Tri-State Antique Truck Shows have been declared an ever increasing success!

We had in excess of 300 trucks entered during the 3-day run of our show this year.  This was seen as an incredible feat since diesel fuel prices are still high and as it is said again with much appreciation that we thank our exhibitors and vendors for their support.  For admission to our third show, we charged $2.00 per person.  Because of the fantastic support from Truck Show Sponsors, we were able to donate $3000.00 of our gate money for the 3-day show to the Clearbrook Fire Dept for desperately needed new equipment.

Plans are already being made for our 2008 Tri-State Antique Truck Show, again to be held at the Frederick County Fairgrounds in Winchester, VA on September 25th, 26th, and 27th.  More info will be posted here as we get it. Our end of show fellowship dinner this coming year will be a  $10.00 barbeque beef dinner with two sides and roll and will again be put on by our local Ruritan  organization. The food was delicious last year and is promised to be the same next year. fellowship was great. If you are interested in participating in this great event next year you may pre order your dinner by using the truck registration form easily downloadable from the truck registration page. You don't need a truck but  payment must be in advance so we will know how many to feed. This is open to the public as well as the exhibiters and venders.  Hope to see you there. It keeps you from having to leave the show for food or have to go home and cook on a Saturday night. There will be no pay at the door. Sorry

The show has been, and remains, financially stable since inception which is why we are able to donate our gate receipts each year and will continue to do so. We are considering several (local) charities to involve our show with in the coming year and will let you know when we decide.  As the show increases in attendance so will the charitable giving. Hope to bring you an even better show in the coming year. It was also decided that the parade this year was such a big hit that it will become a permanent fixture from now on. The next meeting will be Sept 14th at the Frederick Co fairgrounds in Winchester, Va at 2:00 PM.
